Mission

The AAC Project of WNY exists to ensure that every individual—regardless of support needs, background, or circumstance—has a voice that can be heard, understood, and valued.

We empower neurodivergent individuals with speech and language differences by providing access to Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, personalized training, and community-based support.

The organization also supports neurodivergent adults transitioning from school to the workplace and broader community through resources, mentorship, and advocacy that promote independence, belonging, and lifelong success.

Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, we strengthen the connections between individuals, families, caregivers, educators, and professionals—creating a region where communication is not a privilege, but a right.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: every voice amplified—every resource accessed—every person connected. Our vision is to build a more inclusive world where everyone can connect and thrive by removing barriers to communication.
